RODOLPHE SAADÉ, executive officer of CMA CGM, was born in 1970. He holds
a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Concordia University in Montreal, where he
majored in marketing.
Rodolphe Saadé got his
start in business selling water coolers for Dynamics Concept in Lebanon and
in Syria, a company he founded and where he served as chairman and chief
executive officer.
In 1994, he began his career at Compagnie Maritime d’Affrètement (CMA) with a training period in New York.
Soon he was appointed director of the Northern Europe/Far East line, based in
Hong Kong. From 1997 to 2000, he was back in Marseille, where he was
successively director of the United States/Mediterranean, Far East/Northern
Europe, and Far East/Northern Europe/U.S. West Coast lines. He was appointed
director of the Transat and Trans-Pacific line in 2000, and named vice
president of the line in 2002.
In 2004, Rodolphe Saadé
joined the Group Executive Board as chief executive vice president of the
North/South routes. He is in charge of managing and developing regular lines
on the routes to North America, Central America, the Caribbean, South Africa,
West Africa, Australia, and the Indian Ocean. In addition, he was appointed
in 2006 to expand Delmas lines in West, East, and
Central Africa and the Indian Ocean, and to develop synergies with lines
operated by CMA CGM Group and Cross Trade as well as U.S. Lines. In 2010, Rodolphe Saadé was appointed
executive officer of CMA CGM and director of the board.

ROBERT
P. KUSICIEL

ROB KUSICIEL is responsible for all aspects of global logistics in
support of direct sourcing activities for the company. He is also responsible
for all inbound freight to Wal-Mart’s U.S. distribution centers. Wal-Mart has
over 8,100 retail units under 55 different banners in 15 countries spanning
Asia, Europe, Latin America, and North America.
Mr. Kusiciel joined Wal-Mart in 2001 as director of
global transportation. He has also served as director of global services
within the Global Supply Chain and Global Procurement divisions. He was
promoted in 2004 to vice president of global logistics and global sourcing.
In 2011 he was promoted to vice president of inbound transportation and head
of global logistics, integrating the two areas.
Prior to joining Wal-Mart, Mr. Kusiciel was vice
president of product development for an internet-based service provider
delivering global order fulfillment systems. Prior to that, he spent 15 years
with industry leaders in the global transportation arena, holding positions
as sales representative, rate group specialist, manager of pricing, and
marketing director.
Mr. Kusiciel has a bachelor of science in marketing
from the University of Illinois.

HABBEN-JANSEN

ROLF HABBEN-JANSEN has been the CEO of Damco since
1 January 2009. Based in Copenhagen, he is responsible for all of the global
activities of Damco.
Rolf Habben-Jansen comes from a position as head of
global customer solutions with DHL. He was responsible for the account
management and growth of the top 100 customers across all of DHL's Business
Units since 2006.
Before that, he headed up the Contract Logistics activities of DHL in most of
Mainland Europe since 2001. In the 1990's, he held various senior positions
in Nedlloyd and Danzas, both of which were merged
into DHL later.
Rolf Habben-Jansen was born in 1966, and today is
married and has two children. He was born in Holland, and he holds a degree
in economics from Erasmus University of Rotterdam.

RONG HE is chairman and president of Century 3’s organization in
China, which helps multi-national corporations (MNCs) manage foreign
investment construction projects coming to China, as well as Chinese
companies with operations going to the United States and Europe.
His team conducts site selection, master planning, project management,
engineering design, sourcing, construction, and plant relocation worldwide
for diverse industrial facilities. The projects in which Rong
He has been involved include general industrial, high-tech, new energy,
chemical, commercial, and high-speed railroad. He is particularly
knowledgeable on China site selection and industrial park master planning,
the protection of intellectual property (IP), and plant relocation.
Prior to assuming his current position with C3, in 2004 he served as director
of China business development for IDC, a part of the CH2M HILL family of
companies, where he focused on high-technology industrial development projects
in China. Rong He also worked for Fluor Corporation
with the firm’s high-tech group as architect, project manager, and operations
manager of Asia. Before that, he taught in Suzhou Institute of Urban Planning
and Construction, and Zhejiang University of Technology.
Rong He, year 1992, graduated from the University
of Arizona with a Master of Architecture. He also holds a Bachelor of
Architecture from Zhejiang University and a Master of Chinese Architecture

became a member of the group executive board of Eurogate
Group, responsible for finance, controls, and administration; he also sits on

Marcel Egger joined the Eurokai/Eurogate
Group in January 1991 as financial manager for Eurokai;
in 1999 his remit was expanded to include finance management for the Eurogate Group. Prior to 1991 he worked for the BfG bank in Hamburg in accounts, internal auditing, and
business client relations. He also received his initial training at this bank
before taking up further studies at the Banking Academy in Frankfurt am Main,
graduating while already employed with Eurokai.

VANG JENSEN

|
BJORN VANG JENSEN joined Electrolux in 2004, as vice president in charge of
supply chain for Electrolux Major Appliances in Asia/Pacific. Today, he is
the head of Global Logistics in the Electrolux Group,
where he manages a logistics spend of more than US$700 million.
Mr. Jensen and his team are solely responsible for purchasing and operations
of ocean freight, air freight, courier services, and associated logistics
services for the entire Electrolux Group. Additionally, he manages the group
that purchases road and rail freight, as well as warehousing services, in
Europe.
A 1988 graduate of the A.P. Møller/Maersk Shipping
School, Mr. Jensen has lived in Asia for the past 23 years, during which he
has been based in Thailand, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, and
Singapore.
In addition to his roles at Electrolux, Mr. Jensen has worked in management
roles within vessel and terminal operations, warehouse management, sales, and
logistics solution design for Maersk Line, Thyssen Haniel Logistics, Exel, and TNT
Logistics.
Mr. Jensen is a very experienced supply-chain practitioner, whose background
spans all aspects of the supply chain, including forecasting, S&OP,
supply-chain design, modeling and re-engineering, warehouse management,
transport management, customs clearance, project logistics, ocean freight,
air freight, courier services, and consolidation.
Mr. Jensen is 46 years old, and married with two sons and one daughter. He is
Danish, and lives in Singapore.

KWAN

|
NICHOLAS KWAN heads up the Global Research team of Standard Chartered
Bank in the Eastern Hemisphere, including Japan, Korea, Greater China,
Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. The team includes 14 economists
located in eight different cities, plus about 80 other research professionals
in FX, rates, credit, commodities, equities, and support functions. Mr. Kwan
joined Standard Chartered Bank in August 2005 as the regional head of
research for Northeast Asia, focusing on macro-economic research, in which he
continues to play a leading role on top of other research responsibilities.
Based in Hong Kong, Mr. Kwan was formerly with the Hong Kong Monetary
Authority (HKMA), where he was a senior economist specializing in
macro-economic and policy research for seven years. Prior to the HKMA, he was
regional chief economist of Merrill Lynch covering the Asia Pacific region,
having been based in Singapore and Hong Kong for 11 years. He led his Merrill
team to second place in the Institutional Investor Asian poll. Mr. Kwan is an
economics graduate of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, with an M.B.A.
From Warwick University in the UK and is a chartered financial analyst.

IOZZO

RICHARD IOZZO recently joined Fellowes as global manager, logistics and
compliance. Fellowes, a Chicago-based company founded in 1917 in Chicago,
Illinois, and specializes in the manufacture of boxes and shredders. In 1972
Fellowes began to diversify itself globally and today operates distribution
facilities in several countries such as the U.S., the U.K., and The
Netherlands. Much of Fellowes manufacturing takes place in China but it is
one of the few companies that still maintain manufacturing operations in the
U.S.
Mr. Iozzo is responsible for managing Fellowes
global logistics. He oversees an ever-changing network of partners and
vendors as the business expands to new markets. Mr. Iozzo
began his career at Emery Worldwide and since then has held a number of key
strategic positions in companies such as Enesco, Brookstone,
and CNH during his 30 years in the industry. Mr. Iozzo
has diverse expertise, having worked in more than 28 countries. In addition
to logistics, Mr. Iozzo is known for his vast
experience large-scale distribution centers, both in the U.S. and
internationally.
Mr. Iozzo holds two undergraduate degrees,
including a bachelor of science degree from Elmhurst College, Elmhurst,
Illinois. Mr. Iozzo also is currently pursuing his
M.B.A., with specialization in global business, at Lake Forest Graduate
School of Management, one of Chicago’s largest not-for-profit graduate
business schools. Mr. Iozzo was recently honored as
the Maurice F. “Moose” Dunne scholar awarded to top students who embody the
entrepreneurial spirit as well as a Hotchkiss Scholar Scholarship awarded to

THUE BARFOD joined the A. P. Moller group in July 1993 as a cadet and
graduated in 1997 with a master mariner degree from the Danish Merchant
Marine Academy in Svendborg.
Following a few years at sea, he began his shore-based career in 2000 and has
held different positions within the group in mainly Latin America and Asia.
He worked as part of the company’s Chilean country organization and later on
as part of their Regional Reefer Management team for Latin America in São
Paulo.
In September 2006 he was asked to start up the dedicated reefer desk covering
what was once called the Greater China Area in Maersk: China, Hong Kong, and
Taiwan. He held this position until position the end of 2009.
In January 2010 Mr. Barfod relocated to Hong Kong
as reefer business development manager for Maersk Line covering the Asia
Pacific, including South Asia and the Middle East.

TROY SHORTELL is senior vice
president for HAVI Logistics Greater China, and is based in Shanghai. Having
worked with most of the global Fortune 100 companies with logistics needs
over the past 20 years, Mr. Shortell has helped companies
overcome supply-chain challenges across a wide range of industries in the
intensely competitive Asian market.
Prior to joining HAVI, Mr. Shortell held senior
strategy, business development, and operations management roles for 12 years
with DHL. He also founded a logistics industry consultancy in Singapore three
years ago to serve contract logistics industry leaders like Toll to develop
and execute their growth strategies in the region.
Mr. Shortell has a particularly unique and
extensive experience in China, where he spent the early part of his career
establishing domestic logistics operations for global multinational companies
at the start of the China consumer boom. Among his educational
qualifications, he conducted mid-career business training at INSEAD (France
and Singapore), received a Master of Arts in History from the University of
California, and a Bachelor of Arts (Woodrow Wilson School for Public and
International Affairs) degree from Princeton University. Mr. Shortell is a native Californian, and now resides in
Shanghai with his wife and three young children. He speaks Mandarin Chinese.

Business and Economics with a bachelor’s degree. For five years, he worked in
the Asian Affairs Department of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic
Cooperation. Two of these years he spent in the commercial office of the
Embassy of PRC in Malaysia.
Following this, he worked for 12 years in China National Silk Import &
Export Corporation, including time spent as deputy general manager of China
Silk Star Import & Export Corporation, a subsidiary of China National
Silk Import & Export Corporation.
Since 2002 Haidong Li has been Representative of
the Washington State Department of Agriculture in China and since 2009 he has
served as Representative of GCCA in China.

FOR NEARLY 30 YEARS, NEAL RIDER
has been involved in both the strategic and operational aspects of
food-related retail and distribution. Since 2004, Mr. Rider has served as
president and chief operating officer of Americold
Realty Trust. With 6,000 employees, Americold is
the largest owner and operator of temperature-controlled warehouses and
supply-chain solutions in the world. Americold has
increased its operating margin by more than 500 basis points over his tenure.
Mr. Rider was recently named chief executive of CMAC, the joint venture
between China Merchants and Americold for the
development of the cold chain throughout China. His other past experience
includes service as executive vice president of business and operations
development for Fleming Companies, Inc., a leading food wholesaler. There he
oversaw key strategic initiatives and the $10 billion central procurement
organization. Mr. Rider also led the successful $2 billion convenience
distribution division through its acquisition of CoreMark.
Mr. Rider worked with American Stores Company, a $20 billion revenue food and
drug retailer, and its divisions, including Acme, Jewel, Lucky, Osco, and SavOn, for 18 years in various financial and operating
capacities. His first position was in Buttrey Foods
as a store clerk. At American, he held the positions of senior vice president
of healthcare operations, senior vice president of Procurement and Logistics
Co., treasurer, and controller. He was chief financial officer of American
when it merged with Albertson's in 1999.
A Montana native, Mr. Rider earned an M.B.A. From the University of Utah in
1987 and obtained a Bachelor of Science in accounting at the University of
Montana. He was a certified public accountant and has served the Board of
Directors of the International Association of Refrigerated Warehouses (IARW),TDS Logistics, RxAmerica PBM,
and the China Merchant Americold joint venture.

Mr. Mathijs
Slangen
joined Seabury Group in 2009 where he is responsible for the development of
the maritime branch of the Cargo Advisory Group. In his role he contributed
to the development of the global ocean trade database as well as the ocean
forecast models. Besides the market intelligence products he is involved in
all maritime related advisory studies and projects of Seabury and a frequent
speaker at international maritime related conferences.
Before joining Seabury Mr. Slangen worked at Maersk
Line in various functions. His expertise ranges from sales & business
development, market intelligenc e, reefer cargo,
marketing and business strategies and operational excellence projects.
Mr. Slangen started his career in 2004 at Ernst
& Young as business consultant. In this role he advised his customers,
mainly in the transport and logistics sector, with the development of
innovative (inter)national projects such as terminal development, modal shift
projects and network optimization.
Mr. Slangen holds a master’s degree in
International Business from Maastricht University.

Tim Smith,
CEO, North Asia, Maersk Line
|
Tim Smith graduated in 1985 from the University of Oxford with a BA
(Hons) 1st class in Geography. He has worked in the
container shipping industry for over 25 years, for much of that time in Asia.
Initially with P&O Containers and then P&O Nedlloyd, Tim has been
with Maersk Line since their acquisition of P&O Nedlloyd in 2005.
Maersk Line is the liner shipping
business within the A.P.Moller-Maersk Group. With a
turnover in excess of US$26bn in 2010, Maersk Line operates more than 600
ships, has a fleet of more than 2m containers, and is represented in more
than 300 offices in 125 countries. As such Maersk Line is one of the leading
liner shipping companies globally.
As Chief Executive of the North
Asia Region, Tim is responsible for all aspects of Maersk Line’s business in
Japan, Korea, China/HK and Taiwan, which together contribute more than 35% of
the global Maersk Line throughput. The country and functional managers
reporting to Tim are responsible for sales and marketing, operations,
customer service, finance, HR, IT and administration.
Tim is British and 48 years of
age. He lives in Hong Kong, and is married to Helen (a doctor). They have 4
children aged from 11 to 21 years.
